Raindrops and Treasures

Cool and gentle spring rains dotted the garden with little jewels for me to capture between showers and again this morning. The reflections and roundness of these water bubbles amazes me.

I also spotted this clever insect on our little mandarin tree. He appeared to be taking shelter under the leaves until he saw my camera moving in on him. He looked so much like a leaf I nearly didn't notice him at all.

The sun is beginning to come out again here, no doubt there will be new treasures for me to find later.
Hope the end of the week is going well for all of you too.

Śliczne zdjęcia ze "złapanymi kroplami deszczu". Mnie się też to udało.Mam to w postach:
- Wakacje, wakacje i po wakacjach,
- Tak było w przeddzień kalendarzowego lata,
- I znowu do ogródka.
Jeśli masz ochotę to zaglądnij tam. Pozdrawiam serdecznie

My favorite, from some amazing water drop shots, is the one of the single drop hanging down with the refracted image in it.
Unusual little creature.

Absolutely gorgeous!

I took my camera with me on my usual weekly visit to one of my specialists and managed to capture some water droplets in a nearby park in between showers... nothing like yours though!!

Hope you had a great week and the girls are enjoying the competition!

You have GOT to be kidding - oh my goodness - these are incredible, not just the clarity of the drops but the composition of each picture. I may have mentioned this once or twice before but it is just joyful looking at your photos. I was speaking to a work friend during the holidays and mentioned your site, I almost want Monday to come around quickly so I can show these straight away!
