I guess the plastic is recyclable- you could perhaps enquire of Scanfil.

KarenKaren @ Pieces of Contentmenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00719349569606790410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7770419908701070201.post-77948162378023259032016-03-20T16:19:24.690+11:002016-03-20T16:19:24.690+11:00I've recently seen The True Cost movie too (so...I've recently seen The True Cost movie too (sobbed my way through parts of it) and am looking into organic sewing options. I'm also very keen to reduce my consumption of plastic. So I'm wondering, are the cones also on wooden spools? It looks plastic in the picture. I never imagined I would own such a wonderful machine either however due to circumstances when my old machine broke last year, combined with a one-off opportunity, this machine became possible. The same threading set up would have worked on my 30 year old Janome also. I had never seriously considered using cones before but am happy to be able to now.Karen @ Pieces of Contentmenthttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00719349569606790410noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7770419908701070201.post-36915877673231973892015-08-27T04:17:12.577+10:002015-08-27T04:17:12.577+10:00 Karen,
