Memorial Park

We took pleasure in a quick walk through Memorial Park on our way to the library late this afternoon. I hadn't realised what a beautiful pathway view it was, nor how the climbing plants have made a beautiful spreading archway, creating a natural threshold at each end. the garden is regularly tended but I had no idea what plants we would find there today. Masses of dianthus were in bloom, matching the colours of our girls jackets!

  11. You take such beautiful pictures, I love dianthus..... Re the chook caravan, It will be gutted and just have the hard floor inside...a regular chook pen on the inside, just a pretty exterior...therefore cleaning is relatively simple and the same as a normal hen house xx Ava

  13. Thresholds always have such potential. Even when you can see through them there seems to be a promise of more.

  14. Lovely threshold! I love how the plants form a doorway and the light changes. Sorry I'm so late in commenting. These got lost in my inbox with everything in the move this last week. Thanks for participating in Exploring with a Camera!
