Winter Strawberries?

Today we have a lonely strawberry blossom.

Just over a week ago the strawberry plants were lightly frosted. I wonder if we will truly have a winter strawberry.

  4. Something strange is definitely happening with strawberries this year. Ours have not stopped flowering over Winter and there are quite a few green berries on them. Never had it happen before!
I'll be interested to see what happens to yours.

  7. Que flor linda a flor do morango! Gostei das fotos do seu domingo ensolarado, da ponte, das crianças, da rosa depois da chuva. Seu blog é bom de passear por ele. Também gosto de ouvir o fundo musical!

  10. So pretty! I forget sometimes that you are on the other side of the world and the weather is completely opposite! Winter sounds nice to us on a hot day like today!

  11. Love your strawberry pictures! We live at 7,200 feet above sea level here in Wyoming so frost like you have would not be uncommon here, even in the dead of summer like it is right now. I never complain about the heat here, no matter how hot it gets because we just don't get very much of it!

  12. Wow, that would really be something! It looks like the frost was not heavy enough to do much damage to them. You never know!!

These photographs are wonderful Karen. I especially love the first one! Wonderful composition!
