Today's Backyard Safari!

Mr Magpie on a friendly visit

Our six youngest children had great fun making live "captures" in our backyard today, armed only with cameras.
They found beetles, caterpillars, strawberries, flowers, a lizard and more! All survived to live another day (yes, even the almost ripe strawberry).

Gotcha! Coriander flowers!

"Resident" blue-tongue lizard sunning itself......

....shot in the wild!

Bee captured by Master T

Stalking in the wilds of suburbia....

Some of their "captures" were excellent, they wielded their cameras well - and taught me a thing or two!
All these captures are my own - click on the 3 links above to see some of their photos, you won't be disappointed.

What's lurking in your backyard?

  9. Beautiful bokeh in your magpie shot and your lizard capture is a lovely composition. My daughter has a little camera and loves to take photos. It is interesting to see what captures their eyes isn't it?
