Weekend Scenes

Today is Father's Day in Australia - presents in bed, bacon and eggs for breakfast for all.

Girls regional cricket training weekend.

You know summer's coming when you see sailing club boats out on the river again.

Footpath/sidewalk flower, so bright and cheery.

Bud of the flower type above.

Beautiful outdoor weather.

Another footpath/sidewalk flower, May bush I believe.

Baked cheesecake cupcakes (some of them), made by two of our daughters, for a special treat tonight.

I hope you found some lovely scenes on your weekend too.

Sharing at The Simple Things, Macro Monday, SkyWatch Friday.

  22. That was a wonderful series of photos. So hard to choose which one I liked best. The first picture was the most endearing. The colors of your footpath flower were so vibrant and I like how it looked backlit. Beautiful sky shot, too.

    BLESSED BE THE SKY

    Cloudy, clear,
    Bright or drear—
    Blessed be the sky!

    Sun and star,
    Near or far—
    Blessed be the sky!

    Rain or snow,
    Sunset glow—
    Blessed be the sky!

    Wind or calm,
    Healing balm—
    Blessed be the sky!
