One of our favourite things about holidays at the Grandparents' village is an evening play on the beach. Although this week is very windy on the coast, it isn't raining, and the temperature is delightfully moderate for summer.
A beautiful way to finish a day.

I would play everyday on the beach if I was near such a beautiful place. You are building up many memories, enjoy fully every moment!
ReplyDeleteThat first pic looks so much like the dunes in Holland, where I spent my childhood years! And I can see your children had fun:) Have a very happy New Year, you and your family!
ReplyDeleteI have the biggest smile on my face... due to your amazing photos of pure beauty and joy! I love the smile on your girl's face and all the cracked sand.
ReplyDeleteThe first photo of the dunes is so much like Bern on Zee on the coast of Holland, a place I visited some 37 years ago. It still looks as glorious as your photo in my minds eye... I can smell the salty air and still catch the full breeze through my hair and the sand is soft between my toes... thank you for sharing this time you had. Love it!
Thank you all fro your lovely comments. The beach is a wonderful place to be. Fisher Lady, Master T is our youngest son, a very jovial hands-on 12 year old. I doubt our girls would have been so brave, although they enjoyed coating him in sand!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wonderful holiday. Lots of fun, and beautiful scenery. Gorgeous captures. Happy New Year!
