To live successful lives, we must have the firm belief, "it can be done", both in our physical and spiritual lives.
"I can do everything through him who gives me strength" Philippians 4:13
"I can do." This is the declaration of faith.
When you think something is possible, you will be able to see the course of action to take.
From Unleashing the Power of Faith, by Dr Yonggi Cho
Somehow I always come home from holidays with a greater sense of "I Can Do" and how wonderful it is.
Are you like that too?
That first photo just blows me away Karen. Love it! I love this scripture! I see in it... throught Christ who strengthens me.... Sometimes in my life, i don't see a way at all, and then, an unexpected door just appears, often one that i had not even thought of or considered. The door that in the long run is just the very best. I can do..... takes so much trust, and isn't that the key? beautiful thoughts that God gives to us just when we need it!
ReplyDeleteand I love that that verse in Philippians is in the context of finding contentment in all circumstances - the theme of your blog :-)
ReplyDeleteI do too Karen and I find that a wonderful and memorable holiday is a blessing :)
ReplyDeletePiękne wspomnienia wakacyjne i z pewnością po nich ma się więcej siły do codziennego życia. Pozdrawiam.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful memories of holiday and certainly after one has more strength for everyday life. Yours.
dere hadde det nok gøy :-) flotte bilder.
ReplyDeleteI am, and for me, I think it is mainly because vacation time gives me the "me" time to realize that this is true.
ReplyDeleteThe antepenultimate one is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteA lovely set of shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos - each composition is striking! And beautiful bit of wisdom, too.
ReplyDeleteAll these photos are so beautiful to dream away and certainly after a vacation we have new energy, indeed "we can do".
ReplyDeleteIncredible shots here! where did you take the first one?
ReplyDeleteHi Erin,
ReplyDeleteOne of the children took the first photo during a walk around Burleigh Headland we all took with my sister while away. It didn’t look much until I edited it (I almost deleted it due to shadows etc), then with some editing it showed its charm. Taken with a little pocket camera. I was pleasantly surprised too.
How I appreciate and love your attitude here. I have never thought of returning home after a vacation with that sense. But this year after our beach trip in June, I will take intentional note. I'll keep you posted.
ReplyDeleteI particularly like the first and last shots.
ReplyDeleteI do indeed find a holiday a great inspiration to pick up my life where I left it and make it more than it was!! Beautiful captures!! Thank you for sharing this with us, Karen!! Hope your weekend is going well! Enjoy!!
