It was one of those lazy winter Sunday afternoons. A rainbow lorikeet dropped in to say a friendly hello. Then I enjoyed a beautiful walk around the river, spotting others out soaking up the sunshine too. A time to down tools for a few hours and refresh.....
Your winter looks so bright and sunny. I am totally upside down of that beautifully coloured rainbow lorikeet. According to the wonderful pictures you had an fantastic lazy Sunday afternoon.
The gorgeous colours in 'your' rainbow lorikeet would be a bring a smile to anyone's day. It must be lovely to walk along that river on a sunny Winter's day.
I wish my winters would look like your winters.....wanna switch places:) What a gorgeous bird!! I cannot imagine what it would be like to see these beauties flying outside my window ....flying freely...wonderful! Have a nice Sunday which I guess for you is almost Monday by now,
Beautiful bird!!!! Soooo colourful. Why don't we have those birds just flying around here? Even on a gray day they would bring sunshine. No soaking up sunshine here today, getting soaked was more the word ;) struggling to get the Dahlia's in pots up again after the wind had blown them over and the supporting stakes got entangled. Those Dahlia's did grow so tall this year, always a problem here in summertime when fierce winds and buckets of rain are part of it all. Have a lovely new week Karen, Marian
What a fantastic bird.
