Gotta go with the spiky one, just because it's different. What an unusual plant!

Nie chcę wybierać, bo mi się oba podobają, chociaż drugi może ukłuć. Pozdrawiam

Spiky! I've always had a soft spot for thistles (pun not intended).

Are you asking me to CHOOSE between 2 of your photos? What, have you lost your senses! Love the first one because of the depth of field and the composition with the bridge columns at the back. Love the second one because I'm an absolute fan (i) of your photos and (ii) and hydrangeas.

I like them both as well. The purple-pink of the thistle is great! :)

I think that I would have to choose the spiky thistle. Love the colors and all of the details. Does that mean I am a spiky person???? Not sure. Really nice photos. Is your weather still springy? or has summer arrived?

Liz said...

Are you asking me to choose between 2 brilliant shots!! Your photography always brings a smile to my face.
The depth of field in the first is amazing! (Michael would choose it because it's a Scottish Thistle and that's his heritage. Ha!). The second is just beautiful and soft... and reminds me of my childhood. :)
Great shots, both of them, Karen so I can't choose!!!

a miracle , really, isn't it ! How all these different beauties are made by the same big hearted One! That our hearts might take joy and pass it on !
I like the thistle lots but I would never brush it against my cheek like I would the other one... close my eyes and imagine baby skin from years back...

There is beauty in both the hard and the soft...

This time, I like the spiky. It reminds me of my trip to the mountains where there were a lot of these and there were butterflies all around!
