With some clever rearranging, de-cluttering, cleaning and resourcefulness I turned can't-do into can-do and don't haves into haves without even spending a cent. The result gladdens my heart greatly - especially as our pantry cupboard is missing a door. It's been a good week. Do you like to keep glass jars for food storage?

Looks lovely - I have been recycling larger glass jars for this purpose too. It is always interesting seeing what other people store in their pantry.
Fica lindo tudo assim em vidros, bem arrumadinhos! Gostei! beijos, chica
Nice shots and I must admit I do the same sometimes and have glass pots with content on display on a shelf in the kitchen.
You have inspired me to do this 'more' in my own pantry. I love seeing your jars of goodies, they make me want to cook something up.
Have a great day ~ FlowerLady
Looks like you've got a chef's pantry there Karen. Love, love the glass jars filled with all those colourful ingredients...looks very purty!!
Everything looks so organized. I LOVE to put things in jars. I try to collect Old Ball jars.
Hugs~
wonderful jar.. neat and tidy
It looks great! A sight like this would also make me happy. The colours and shapes of all the beans and ingredients are beautiful! Maybe I should try this too, although I do not have so much space. I will keep it in mind!
Greeting, Anita
It all looks so delicious. When's dinner?
Absolutely beautiful! My mother does this with all her food and spices as well with anitque jars, and I think it is stunning. I love all the different shapes and sizes you are using. It makes for a work of art on it's own - no pantry door needed.
O yes I do like! And I even recognize some jarshapes you have. Isn't that amazing? Being on opposite sides of the world but with the same jars ;)
Have a lovely week Karen,
Marian
PS I always use glass jars as vases as well.
What a great idea, they look really nice too! Lentils are my favorite. :)
Great idea!!! If I start collecting old jars will my cupboards look as neat and organized as yours???

It looks so nice. I am starting a major cleaning/organizing project at my house this week. This was great motivation to me.

Well worth the effort.

Thanks for yet another great idea :)
I also recycle my jars and you have made a lovely, lovely project of yours.
Oh, it looks fine and what a great idea! Myself, we havn't enough space and it didn't know how to make. My grandmother knew such ... It was another time here. Now we take frozen our food.
Wish you a wonderful week, Heidrun
Hi Erica, I also thought I didn't have the space.....
I really enjoy cooking from basics, especially soups and Indian foods in the cooler weather.
I LOVE glass jars for storage! We keep many of ours' out in plain view as well.
These look wonderful, in so many ways! Great photos, nourishing contents, and so organized!
lots of good things in your pantry! I love glass jars for mine too, I like the old coffee ones, but as I don't drink coffee I usually find them at op shops or garage sales
Beautiful glass display! I'm amazed at the number of different cereals and beans you have. I wouldn't know how to cook most of them!
Such clear and invigorating photos. I get what you're saying in terms of clearing out and decluttering and getting organised. You should feel very pleased.
very inspiring, I am doing slowly the same at home:-) did u use jars u had finished, I love the high ones, such beauties when you fill them with beans/seeds/flowers:-) happy new week, you should be very proud of U!
Yes, all the jars were kept after we'd eaten the contents. I had stored the jars in various spots around the home as my pantry cupboard and kitchen aren't large. Some of the jars had been empty for a while but I couldn't part with them. I didn't think I had room to keep them all together, until I worked at it.
The very tall ones came with juice in them. The same juice now comes in plastic - not nearly so appealing.
I love how clean and neat your jars look on the shelves!
Hello Dear KAREN

How funny. I've has a bunch of old blue canning jars collecting dust and just TODAY I started putting things inside to store them. I thought I was so clever. But you neat me!
Don't pantry stores look great housed in glass jars? Yours look lovely. I save glass jars but had to start from scratch after moving a few months ago, so don't have many yet, I love your tall ones.
Your organized pantry is a dream! How inspiring!!
Lovely photos and a great idea for all the old bottles I've been collecting. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers!

I have been converting my pantry items into glass storage this past year. My shelves are not as neat as yours though.
