Thinking and Walking




Walking by myself helps me sort my thoughts, calm my body and settle my heart.
 Late this afternoon I took the opportunity for this treat.




In a few short hours it will be September 11,  a time for reflection and also a family birthday to celebrate.




I'm very glad my trust is God whose love and faithfulness never change, from generation to generation,
 from century to century, despite what may happen in the world around me.




"You made the moon to mark the season

    Beautiful...yes and amen...and you have learned one of the most important things for a home school mom...walking and just soaking in the Lord and His beauty...He refreshes, encourages and keeps us looking up to Him....as I placed my flag out today...I remember 9/11!!

    What a lovely walk!
    I too find the the peace & solace of walking alone very therapeutic in many ways. I don't often get the chance to do this - I think I need to make the time again.
    Thinking, praying, listening... and capturing God's beauty.

    Wonderful photos. And yes, walking has the same meditative effect on me. It's one of the nicest things to do and by walking, you can find real treasures. Like you did ... Nature is so inspiring, magical and relaxing ... And the sun and the moon have this kind of special power to enlighten our body and soul ... It's a real delight to be alive!
