Seen Better Days

Now where did that ball go????

Now I've got you!

Rigged up by Master T, this very worn leather cricket ball is serving out it's retirement in an active fashion! Every day, slung high through our frangipani tree, it is used by the four keen cricketers to fine tune batting skills (when they aren't actually bowling to each other).  Miss E also likes to exercise her playing rights!

Sharing at Friday Photo Story.

  12. Wonderful shots!
My children used to rig up things like this with tennis balls. With youngest 2, it often involved a basketball and hoop! :)

  14. I love seeing pictures of your kids. Love how they are doing such fun and "healthy things". So many kids in the US never have their phone out of their hands. Time filled with texting texting , and video games when there is a lull in texts. So great to see all of the family activities you do..... Love it!!!!!

  17. oh a frangipani....My daughter's in South Africa was just beginning to bloom in September when I was there. So amazingly beautiful!
I loved to see the cricket! I played only once and that was with some children in England while I was hiking through Devon. They actually invited me to join the game and I had so much fun!
Nice to see the happy kids and a well worn ball.
