At the End of the Rainforest




Our littoral rainforest walk brings us out at the beach and a rocky headland.




This day the children headed straight for the tidal rock pools to see what was to be found.







A couple of sea cucumbers as seen from above. Thankfully no one wanted to pick them up.




Looking around the headland to Main Beach.

Back "home" in time for a play in the sand along the bay and to enjoying a beautiful sunset.

    I love that crashing surf!! Such a beautiful place! Love the rock formations and the sea cucumbers are so interesting -- I wouldn't have wanted to pick them up either. Your captures are delightful as always! Thanks for taking us along! Hope your week is off to a great start!

    I thoroughly enjoyed this walk down by the sea (and your previous post). Superb shots.

    I've done that too - gone back at a later time for a better look and unhurried photo making. Photography is a sole/soul venture.

    Such a beautiful post... I've missed your blog. It always brings me such joy - beautiful images, words and music.

    I've been on another forced break due to the death of one of my youngest son's closest friends... heartbreaking.
    I did manage one post on Monday night/Tuesday (early hours) as a tribute...
