I was looking for flowers and found a fly.
I was looking for raindrops and found dewdrops.
In search of more butterflies.....
I found bumblebees.
In hope of a colourful sunset
I stumbled on a flock of noisy corellas.
There's more to life than endless searching, let's rest in Whom and what we find along the way.

Wonderful post...love the fly image, The dewdrops shot is just amazing.
ReplyDeleteAs Nadege has said, I love the fly image too, the range of colours it wears is extraordinary.
ReplyDeleteYou have such a great eye! :-)
ReplyDeleteSchön was du alles entdeckt hast. :-)
ReplyDeleteHier bei uns halten sich die Insekten leider weiterhin zurück, es ist noch immer zu kühl. Ich muss mich noch gedulden, was Makros mit Insekten betrifft. ;-)
Lieben Gruß. Bina

ReplyDeleteThe dewdrops are beautiful.
Simply breathtaking images! Isn't it amazing that oftentimes what we're in search of doesn't materialize, but if we keep our minds open and actively look for good anyway, we find something better?
ReplyDeleteOh my.... these are exquisite! How lovely that you've captured such beauty with your eye and camera... and then you share it with us.
ReplyDeleteWishing you lots more of those glimpses of heaven........
I had to laugh out loud while reading your story. The fly is just hysterical! Love it. :)
ReplyDeleteSometimes we go out in search of something we've in mind to shoot, only to find what is waiting to be shot. That's the best part of the photographic journey, though. Finding the unexpected just waiting for us to capture it in all its glory.
Lovely images. :)
Oh, you've made everything beautiful ... even a fly. That takes talent.
