Beautiful nature shots with such delicate details. I adore the butterfly shot and that stick-like insect is amazing. You have captured the birds most beautifully too. I love the little flowers opening on that last capture, so tiny and perfect!

Some great finds. I see lots of butterflies in my backyard garden but only when my camera is packed away in its case in the front loungeroom. Particularly love your last shot. A friend told me yesterday that there's a tamron 60mm f.2 lens that looks good. I must do a search on it today.
ReplyDeleteStunning captures! The faint tracing of violet around the edge of the garden butterfly is exquisite. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteThese are amazing shots, you're so lucky to have such amazing wildlife around you, really stunning :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! Your photographs should be in a book! :)
ReplyDeleteThe bird, the blue flower and the butterfly- I am in awe. Stunning. Visiting granny's garden, what a blessing!
ReplyDeleteAll of these are just stunning! That lavender leading edge, and then the tinge of pale yellow on the white butterfly was such a nice thing to get to see with your close-up view. You'd never notice the lavender if you saw the little thing just flitting by! What we miss!
ReplyDeleteOh my! You are blessed with such amazing finds in the backyard! Beautiful! :)
ReplyDeleteGreat shot !!

ReplyDeleteYou have blessed my early morning like you wouldn't believe!
ReplyDeleteThere are treasures for those who look and wait patiently in Granny's garden down by the sea...I simply love this! When I would visit 'my' Granny's garden it was the lush garden veggies, beans high on the pole, and 'mint'! planted all around the base of the home, at night when we would leave, the amazing aroma followed the waving of my Grandma Rose' arm held high as she would stand on the porch watching us until we were out of sight...
All your photos are breathtaking and oh how I love bird shots! The colours of the parrot and flower simply brought the biggest smile to my face! It was so fun walking with you today, dear Karen!
Hugs to your granny!
Oh, and I didn't mention the butterfly... the little body supporting thase magnificent wings is so really human looking... I can imagine the little critter just up and talking to me... and really, I think your photos did! each one in its own beautiful way!
