"We probably don't need more faith,
we need less unbelief"
Our gentle pastor shared today, based on Hebrews chapter three.
He loves me.... he loves me not.... he loves me.... he loves me not....
Sometimes we need to stop sitting on the fence, wavering in our belief. Not believing keeps us apart from God.
We need to unbind our faith.

Each one of us is precious and unique, made by God for good things. The people of Israel in the desert could not believe God was committed to do them good. Don't be like that, have a believing heart.....
Thoughts for me to ponder this week and beyond.
Your last photo is stunning. Have a great sunday Karen.

ReplyDeleteThese photos are perfection, Karen, and you know I don't say those words lightly. So pleased you and the kids had fun the other day on the steam train - I didn't dare show the photos to Thomas as it would have evoked way too much envy. Hope you're going ok.

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely, striking post.
ReplyDeleteIn sight and in text.
Its the kind of post that I slowly read over a couple times.
I liked the contrast you created with the heavy red petals of unbelief and the light white seedlings of belief.
Beautiful.
Cheers,
Leah
All of your photos are simply gorgeous but that last one is stunning!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images and such a wonderful post. Definitely thoughts to ponder on. Unbelief blocks so much in our lives.
ReplyDeleteIt is impossible for God to do wrong...He does not make mistakes, neither does He judge and rule unjustly. If there be misjudgement of God and His actions, words or deeds...the error is in our not knowing and understanding who He truly is because we do not have an intimate relationship with Him... but we can have through Jesus! His name is 'Wonderful'!!
ReplyDeleteThis is exquisite! I love the black and deep red. Thanks so much for sharing with Flower Art Friday!

ReplyDeleteBeautiful macro's but even more beautiful are those words of truth that you shared with the readers.
ReplyDeleteI once had complete unbelief. Now when I see the world and learn about God I scratch my head wondering why I was like that. So wonderful words preached and wonderful pictures too.
ReplyDeleteHow did you know I've been struggling with this issue? I kid. Seriously though, I find it hard to believe sometimes that God wants good things for me and truly loves me; I'm always worried that he's only seeing my faults, ready to punish me as soon as I stumble. Which is a lot. Anyway, beautiful lesson and gorgeous photos.
ReplyDeleteOh wow! As always, your photos are breath-taking!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful images! If you are looking for God, nature is a perfect point of departure.
