Never lose an opportunity of seeing anything beautiful,
for beauty is God's handwriting.
Ralph Waldo Emerson
As the day begins to colour with soft golden hues of early evening, I turn my head skywards to look for wonders. As often as possible I embrace these opportunities. Giving thanks for legs which can walk and eyes which can see, I briskly head off to soak my soul and mind in the visible whispers of God's creative magnificence. I always return invigorated in body and refreshed in spirit.
Each day is a fresh miracle, each sunset a unique masterpiece for us to savour.

ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Love the quote as well. Even if I don't see these wide, uninterrupted skies, I do see the beauty of it as well and then I often grab the camera. I should show it to you in a post as well, just to compare skies around the world. Thank you for sharing again Karen!
ReplyDeleteLove the house as well, love the Australian houses with the porch, often all around the house.
Marian
I would love to see your sky photos Marian, good idea to make them into a post one day. The house shown is a little unusual here as it has attic/upstairs windows - very nice to look at. Most houses here have neither attics or basements but many have a large deck or verandah as you mention. We have a good climate for enjoying outdoor living.
ReplyDeleteLove the purple one!!!!!

These are stunning, Karen! I too love to look up as the sun begins to set. I also find myself looking up during the day and marvelling at His creation. No sky, sunset or sunrise is ever the same. There is so much beauty to be seen everyday.
