First Light, Last Light

A hint of colour on the white walls drew me eastward to witness this morning's sunrise. Glorious! It seems like a dream to holiday here.

Following a long day out at a Gold Coast theme park I snapped this week's progress in my Fresh Fields quilt as daylight disappeared in the west. A little stitching fills those in between holiday moments in a most delightful way.
You can find a closer photo of these "Beach Flowers?" on flickr here.

Sharing at Wednesday WIP, SkyWatch Friday.

Your picture makes me dream of beach days. I'm home today with an "Ice Day", and would love to be walking the beach instead. :) Ah... that, too, will come, though. The colors for your quilt are beautiful!
