Golden




















15 years ago this month we moved into our home and not once have we seen a golden spider lily flower in the backyard. Yes, we have a few of these lilies in the front yard but it was a wonderful surprise to see this one flower below the frangipani by the back steps.

 Other golden spots this week - watching and listening to the birds, including this little honeyeater; kangaroos seeking shade at church; enjoying several different butterflies including Blue Triangle and Oleander; noticing colours and textures on a nearby pecan nut tree.
Just yesterday I opened an account on Instagram  - so quick and easy to use and a fun way to keep up with many others and happenings. So much yet to explore.

    Beautiful yellow flowers, birds, and of course butterflies. Thank you also for the kangaroos, because I like to look at them. Yours sincerely.

    What wonderful photos!!!!

    I could see two of those butterfly photos turned into needlework. Would you mind if I used your photos for inspiration? These would eventually be for sale.

    I just love those kangaroos!
    So similar to yet different from the deer we watch in our back yard. :)

    They are kangaroos Amy, the larger ones stand nearly as tall as myself.

    Great Golden Spots! The golden spider lily is just gorgeous, so are all the other pictures. I love the curious kangeroos....., so exotic to us.

The color, the unusual animals and insects...your exquisite photography...wow. I'm finally getting to write this post...he has been looking at your posts for the last 10 minutes!
