We live on a regular house block in town, yet we are delighted to have quite a variety of wild native bird visit, although none more colourful than Rainbow Lorikeets! Sometimes they come quite close, like this one, perching on a chair on our back deck!

This bird is amazing looking! I have lots of birds in my yard, but much simpler ones. Lots of mourning doves that i love to listen to, bluebirds, cardinals, blue jays, and then one African Gray parrot who lives in my living room and talks all of the time. What a gift to see these amazingly colorful birds all of the time!
Now you know with me having parrots, I envy you living there with parrots in the wild. LOVE lori's so colorful.
