Warm Weekend

"Red Delicious" apples looking promising

We draw to the end of a warm almost-summer weekend. Along with the necessities of attending to a family of ten,
I found a little time to check in on some of our garden miracles and remove a few weeds.

Late yesterday, in the cool of early evening, a brisk walk to the bridge and back was refreshing.

The weekend for the children involved lots of this........

....and lots and lots of cricket. When not on the field, there was cricket in the backyard and also out on the street with several neighbourhood children until dusk.

Hope you are having a pleasant weekend, whether in snow or warm sunshine.

Sharing at Sunday Bridges, Our World Tuesday, Good Life Wednesday.

That's a glorious picture of the summer evening on the bridge, so pleased you got a chance to both walk and capture. And the cricket - just wanted to let you know, in the hope of impressing your cricket skilled daughters that I ventured on to Bradman Oval on Saturday. Also wanted to say thank you so much for the comment you left last week on the 17th - that meant alot.

I love the perspective of your bridge shot!
It lokos like you have had a lovely weekend. I don't know how you do it with a family of ten!!!??? (perhaps it's similar to one parent with a family of 5??)
You amaze me anyway! Have a wonderful week.

you are giving me a hunger to come visit your land... I so want to see firsthand, all that amazing flora that is so different from ours... and a cricket game in place of soccer would be so entertaining!
Thanks for sharing all this warmth. We have close to zero Celsius today, a tad warmer than the -20 of two days ago :)

«Louis» works all weekend, so it is difficult for him to visit those who have contributed to Sunday Bridges on Sunday. So here it is mid-week and he's FINALLY getting around to visiting and thanking all who contributed to the meme.
