Bright Bromeliad

I find bromeliads quite strange plants, growing inconspicuously then producing vivid flower spikes in their own time.

This one grows under our frangipani tree and is currently flowering, with some similarities to one I shared earlier.

Their bright colours certainly make the bromeliad easy to spot while in flower.

Dear Karen - you show off the wonders of nature to perfection. What could be more beautiful than that first image - the colours, the form, it is exquisite.

I love the third image especially... all are some of my favourite colours muted together in such perfection.
This is your Autumn now is it not? Do the flowers slow down at all in your land ?
