Monday's walk across the bridge revealed a dredger at work. After last week's rain the smokey haze has gone and everything is turning green again.
A box of Vistaprint goodies arrived on Monday, I've not ordered from Vistaprint before. Their prices/specials were excellent and the products are mostly pleasing.
Someone's always baking yet it seems to disappear just as quickly too.
Hubby's off work, again, for a couple of weeks this time, maybe longer, as he continues to struggle greatly with his total body chronic eczema. Life gives many opportunities for character building, some of which we wouldn't choose.

Love the dredger shot. Poor J, he really has been struggling the last few years. Love to hear more about Vista, compared to the other printing companies you've used, is the quality comparable? better?
Love the quilts in progress. Looks like you have some excellent bakers or pastry chefs at your home. Sorry to hear about your husband's eczema. That sounds so painful. I hope the inflammation subsides soon. xx

I always love seeing shots of your quilts in the making (thanks for your email and links). Sometimes it is not so easy to cope with the cards we have been dealt. I am sure your family is a great support to your husband when times are difficult.
So sorry to hear your husband is suffering from his eczema again. Hope he feels better soon and the weeks home will help to get some relief.

Were you able to find out anything on the drug that I sent you information about?? So sorry that this challenge is in your life with your wonderful family. your hubby... allergies to dairy? My dad suffered all his life and after six months without dairy anything,
had baby soft skin and could even indulge moderately with dairy again without repercussions. For a friend, it was flouride in the water... stopped using it and his skin healed.

So much beauty captured yet again, Karen! Your floral macros always take my breath away. Here in November, it's very dark and there is no color left outside.. but I've been hoping to get my macro lens out to see about capturing some frost one morning.
My grandmother has had chronic eczema all her life.. it's something that definitely affects her lifestyle in ways others of us wouldn't think twice about.
Sure hope your husband finds relief soon.

I LOVE succulents! I have about 7 or 8 varieties, they are just the easiest plant to care for, IMO. I have some that are growing on the dust of the shelf, no soil, no water(unless the rain blows over on it) and no sun for several mos of the year.
I love your last line about character building. The Lord does know what we need to do that!
