There were only two kangaroos in the churchyard today, seeking relief in the shade even in the early morning.
Miss E has been Christmas baking again. I resisted these little mince pies but did try a little of her fresh shortbread. She has baked enough Christmas treats for an army, but then sometimes our family demolishes food like and army too!
We're heading for an even warmer day of 36C (96F) tomorrow - the pool will be well used again.

Mikołaj musi trochę pocierpieć w upale, aby dać radość z prezentów. Uwielbiam kangur. Ciasteczka pysznie wyglądają i pewno takie są. Pozdrawiam cieplutko.
Santa has some suffer in the heat, to give the joy of gifts. I love the kangaroo. The cookies look delectable and certainly are. I greet warmly.
Karen, I'm betting Santa prefers your weather to mine! What a great photo.
The Kangaroos are wonderful, and those tarts look delicious.
Merry Christmas!
What fun to see Santa on a boat! Love the kangaroo and those tart look divine! I wish you a wonderful Christmas and all the best in 2014!
Love Your summer santa, but deffintiely have to feel very sorry for him wearing his suit in what sounds like really hot weather! Can definitely feel his pain living in Texas. So lucky you are that Miss E does so much baking, and she does a lovely job too. Those tarts look amazing. Have a lovely time in the pool.
For me it's stunning: Santa Claus & christmas bakery at 36C temperature...
Sincerely
Astrid
Such fun, delightful holiday captures for the day, Karen!! Miss E's baking looks delicious as always! It would seem so strange to be celebrating Christmas in the "summer", but the joy of the season is the same!! Wishing you and your beautiful family a very blessed and Merry Christmas!!

So strange to me the Santa on a hot summerday and it must be lovely to be able to swim outside round Christmas time. Love to see the Kangeroo! Miss E's mince pies look delicious and are lovely decorated with stars. I wish you and your family a Merry Christmas!
