Sparky, Phyllis and Fire












Meet Miss V's little friend Sparky the caterpillar, straight from our broccoli patch (I won't tell them what I've been doing with all the "cousins" in recent weeks). Miss E loves Sparky so much so this morning I went in search of a friend just for Miss E.




Meet Phyllis - she is tiny!




And hungry!




Hiding on the same leaf we later discovered Fire, the tiniest of them all.....
Now everyone is happy - for now!

    Mmmm....the very hungry caterpillar...can't imagine what you have been doing to the little critters' cousins?? ;) Gorgeous photos...love the green caterpillar on Miss V's purple jumper!!

    Oh my goodness, this brings back memories!
    My kids used to find all sorts of creatures in the gardens.

    It's one of my favorite things about having fresh eyes of children around.. they're always looking closer & appreciating what the rest of us sometimes see as "pests!" :)
    I think the names are wonderful, and that portrait of Phyllis is lovely!
