Sunshine working its magic! |
A frosty morn is a noteworthy event in our household, only occurring a few times each winter. Our old house is certainly not built for weather extremes, however the sun is now shining brightly, promising another sensational warm winter's day outside.
Hope you all have a lovely Sunday!

I know that frosty mornings are a cold way to start the day, but I really love the sunshine that follows!
Such lovely photos!
Great photos ... always interesting to see a cold season when it is so hot here!
I can relate! Really clever and clear photos (I'm running out of adjectives to describe your photography - it's always so lovely).
Oh and I forgot to mention just before, congratulations on getting a mention on the Flowers on Saturday photo share - well done. And see, it just supports what I've said above.
Wonderful photographs.
Reminds me of what is to come in a few months here.
I am giggling at the weather extreme! Here it is 35c in summer and -35c in winter. Pretty frost! You are green year round?
Monika in Canada
It was 4C yesterday morning! I was freezing! never moving south.
Hi Monika!
Yes, thought some of you would pick up on "extremes". We are green all year round, well maybe brown from frost in winter and heat in summer, but the trees are mostly green. We do have days into the 40+ range in summer but our winters are lovely. Our homes aren't centrally heated so inside is often nearly as cold as outside. We wear our parkers/jackets inside the house as well as outside. During the middle of the day it is definitely warmer outside than inside most days.
Was that inside or outside Erin? It was below zero here- outside.
It is very hot today, 36°C or 97°F in Tokyo. It looks like another world.
It was February that I went to Tasumania and Melbourne.

Frosty and beautiful.
FROST?? Wow. It's gonna be 90 here, with 100% humidity (again). Our poor air conditioner is gonna bust soon!
Refreshing too look at while I endure temps in the 90s with humidity just as high. Thanks for sharing!

Thanks for dropping by the whimsical wife! Love your frosty photo's! Especially the clover ones!
I love these! Especially the perspective on the 1st. The last one is my favourite though! Haven't seen any frost here this winter, much to my disappointment, I'd love to photograph it. I'm following you back now, love your blog!
