"Teach us how short our lives really are so that we may be wise."
Psalm 90:12
One of my younger daughters came supermarket shopping with me yesterday, we both saw and loved these fresh flowers - and they were reduced to less than half price. So often I pass these opportunities by, considering such things a luxury, denying all of us the pleasure of a treat, being too rational. This time we bought them and I'm so pleased we did - and I'm not the only one!

Great contrast, the yellow & white to the blue. The blue really brings out the flower to all it can be. Thanks for sharing! Here is my entry.
Blessings for a wonderful Sunday..... peace and beauty and glimpses of heaven on earth!
What a wonderful blessing you have here. Love the shot :) Have a blessed Sunday :)
This is a very beautiful shot. The flower looks so beautiful.
I often try to pick up some cheap supermarket blooms to brighten our home, some of them last a surprisingly long time!
Enjoy!
Good for you! We all need to splurge occasionally, even if it's at a reduced price.
You captured the beauty and charm of this little flower brilliantly!
Beautiful picture with very nice colors,
well done.
That is a beautiful flower~so glad you decided to bring it home with you.
Terrific SOOC shot!!! Happy Sunday!
Truly gorgeous!
The color you chose to lay the flower on is perfect. The light makes the shot even more impressive. Just goes to show what can be done without all the gizmos.
Gems xx
Beautiful shot of the mum.
So beautiful, and I love your two flowers in the posts above too. I've started to keep an eye out for flowers at the supermarket too. Sometimes you can get lovely ones for less than $10.
I completely understand about the blog visiting, I really apreciate the times you visit, but it can be so time consuming.
Thank you Sara. This bunch was reduced to $3.50, well worth it as I know they will last over a week too.
This is beautiful. I love the colors of the flower and the blue background. Great combination.
Beautiful shot and wonderful verse - I may need to write that down for this week!
so simple and beautiful! :) thanks for linking up with the simple things. Rebecca
