As soon as we reached the bridge on our walk yesterday I was struck by the stillness of the water and the reflections of the beautiful sky. Sigh.....

I like the way the sky nestles so comfortably in the clear, still waters of the lake (or is it a river?).

A mist, a drop, a river, the sea—

It is indeed a river, slow flowing for now as we've not had rain for a while.
It is also effected by the ocean tides, I think it was sitting at high tide.

This is beautiful. I love photos of reflections. Did you try to turn the image upside down? When it looks almost the same as right way up, then it really is a great reflection. Your's looks pretty good both ways! :-)
