Another busy day, mostly cloudy, and all eight children are at various stages of a not-so-nice head cold. However, there was opportunity for a late walk. Yes, almost too late and the light wasn't good but I want to share these with your anyway.
As the jacarandas are finishing their glorious flowering, now there is a bright Christmas-coloured display of poinciana trees in some streets around town. The poinciana is a native of Madagascar and seems to thrive in our climate.
While I hope to capture more poinciana photos soon, in better light.......at least I was able to capture the moon between poinciana leaf fronds as I headed home before it became dark.
Hope you all have a wonderful weekend!
