A Glorious Beginning

Blue skies and great flying conditions marked the beginning of 2012 in our corner of the world. Master J (16) has been flying nearly every day on our holidays but today was the most pleasant by far.

Beautiful weather for a swim while J was flying on the hill.

We also had a wonderful time exploring the nearby rock pools. (Can you see the eight legged orange starfish? There's a brown one immediately below it too). One of those magnificent days, I have shared just a sampling of the day's treats. We are due to return home tomorrow, but no one is in a hurry to leave....

Sharing at Weekend Reflections, Our World Tuesday.

Looks absolutely wonderful!
The beaches have been closed on the coast. I do hope we can get down to the beach these holidays.

It is easy to see why no one is in a hurry to head home. Thank you for letting look over your shoulder at these beautiful views of a place I will never see in person.. I enjoyed the journey.
Happy New Year to you and your lovely family.
Hugs,
Pam :)

Cudowne miejsce i morze i plaża. Chętnie bym tam muszelki pozbierała, spacerując po plaży :-). Pozdrawiam.

Wonderful place and the sea and beach. I'd shells recovered from there, walking along the beach :-). Yours.

Your Master J seems very adept with flying planes. You've completely nailed that riding through the waves shot, it's so in the moment. Your twins always look very sporty and comfortable being so if that makes sense.

Hi, may i know which part of Australia is this? The assortment of animals in that rock is amazing and the crab is big! I wonder what is that greenish string of beads looking like sausages. It is amazing too. I remember seeing lots of animals on the rocks too in Newcastle.
