Wet and Wonderful

Yesterday's rose

"Stop and consider the wonderful miracles of God!
Do you know how God controls the storm and causes the lightning to flash forth from his clouds?
Do you understand how he balances the clouds with wonderful perfection and skill?"
Job 37: 14-16

Last night, early this morning and again this evening we hear the sounds of thunder and gentle rain. Spring storms are bringing their welcome rain (with no damage so far). Even the kangaroos at church were wet through.

Today's sunset shows amazing clouds, balanced with "wonderful perfection and skill".
I don't know what tomorrow will bring but I know who holds it, and that's enough.

Friend or foe inside the petals of your lovely rose:-) ?
Thanks for setting me straight on the white blueberry flowers earlier. They are worth growing for the flowers alone. Do you happen to know the variety?

Karen @ Pieces of Contentment said...

Hi Hannah. The little beetle and her friends appears to have done no harm.
I don't know what variety the blueberry is. I bought it at some markets a couple of years ago so it didn't come with a tag. I have moved it from a pot to a garden bed in the last couple of weeks, it seems to be growing better now. Looking forward to more blueberries this year.

Intr-adevar, umed si minunat! Imi plac uneori zilele mai ploioase. Natura se invioreaza, culorile sunt mai clare, cerul este mai agitat si fotografiile ne incanta...

Beautiful Spring shots. We too are getting some very welcome rain, but pity poor Victoria with those big hailstorms.
