Still Fruitful

Monday I shared some of the beautiful flowers I found in our neighbour's yard. Although we live in town there is thankfully room for a few fruit trees. P and L have a couple of lovely mature orange trees and as you can see they are now covered with sweet blossoms as well as some of last winter's fruit.

Below are a couple of photos I posted early June, the day P and L gifted us with some of the delicious fresh fruit from their trees.

We do have an orange tree which we planted a couple of years ago. It has just grown it's first handful of flowers. Maybe in a few years we'll have oranges to share with neighbours too.

This is the first time I am seeing both flower and fruit together on a tree. Simply beautiful. Am your newest follower. A big lover of plants, I can see you have a lot of posts on flowers, fruits and garden. Will go through all of them leisurely..:)

Those oranges must taste SO good. We can only buy ours at the grocery store up here...just not the same! Great photos of them! Hope your tree gives you oranges in the near future :)

It must be lovely to have fresh oranges right from your neighbour's tree. They look so beautiful as you have arranged them in the blue bowl.

I had the pleasure of making lemon curd with my daughter in Jo'burg... her tree is like yours only lemon.
I am so amazed to see last years fruit and yet new blossoms... one of God's miraculous provisions!
