Pool Cricket

What do you do when it's too hot to enjoy playing cricket outside with the neighbours and you've had enough of watching cricket on TV in the air-conditioning? You invent Pool Cricket! Using a plastic bat and ball you play hit-and-swim!

The younger ones and another neighbour are having a great time playing lego inside. All 10 have stopped to have ice cream in cones or smoothies - in front of cricket on the TV. Our twins have played competition cricket each of the last four days....and still want more!

Kids are creative when it comes to finding ways to have fun -- hot or cold weather!! It's great when they keep that creativity as adults!! We could all have more fun if we did!! Great summer shots to enjoy on a cold, rainy winter night in Seattle!! Have a great week, Karen!

Those children of yours just love their cricket. If they have two seconds could they pop down south and talk about the sport with my husband. He'd love it. I'd love it. I'd love it that he could talk to someone else about it. A win-win.
They must so enjoy the pool. It's certainly not a wind down week from this end - so much to do on the work front, but just want to say I'm looking forward to having extra time to do things like responding in a proper form to your photos and daily happenings. PS I LOVE the material christmas birds you and the girls made for the Christmas tree.

Looks like sooooo much fun! It's raining like crazy here :-( Luckily just finished gathering all the fallen leaves from the neighbours tree once again and making sure the excess of water can get to the designated place by emptying the guther that leads to it. It was full of leaves and dirt as well.
Ooooo Legooo! Such great toy. Our kids LOVED playing with lego when they were younger.
Bye,
I'm dreaming of a sunny christmas ;-) Why was that song never made ;-)

This looks like great fun! And look at all the legos... it reminds me of when my kids were young, and even Becky and I got involved with building with the legos :^)

What fun!! I remember creating all kinds of games to play in the pool when the weather was hot over Summer.
My children didn't have a pool in the yard but they created watery fun with sprinklers under the trampoline, a home made "slip & slide" and boogie boards.

Cricket Coolness! Pools, sunshine, ice cream and cricket...niiiiiiiiiice! The closest I am getting to cricket is that I am wearing gloves like the wicket keeper and shoveling a pitch (feels like 22yards long) down the middle of my driveway so the mailman can walk straight up our driveway! LOL. Enjoy your cricket and sunshine!

Z przyjemnością bym z dziećmi pobawiła się w basenie. Miło patrzeć na letnie zdjęcia, jak u nas zimno. Pozdrawiam.
With pleasure I played around with the kids in the pool. It's nice to look at summer pictures, as in our cold. Yours.
