Not Alone

You could be forgiven for looking at my previous post and thinking we had the beach all to ourselves. However, this was not the case. Being a tourist spot on a long weekend, it was relatively busy for this quiet fishing village. Here you can see at least five 4 wheel drives.

Turning in the other direction you can see the sister village across the river which is far more developed.

It looks close but there is no direct bridge. A half hour ferry ride or a 40 minute road trip is required to cross over.

As we were leaving on dusk, the first of many local fishing trawlers was heading out for a long night's work.

Perched on Miss N's hand is my favourite "not alone" evidence of the afternoon....

Not alone.

Can't believe people go to the beach by car...
I'd rather have the company of that little fellow than the 4 wheel drives!
Nice to see you had a great weekend :)

Looks like such a beautiful place! Those little crabs are so fun. I remember them scampering about when we would lay on the Hawaii beaches. The sand would be full of their tracks! :)
