Seeing More.....

"The question is not what you look at,
but what you see."

                                                Henry D Thoreau

The more I look, the more I see. My purple anemone poppies are a delight to my eyes.

Photography Notes: First and last taken with my Canon 600D on Aperture Priority + 50mm 1.4 lens + Raynox super macro conversion lens DCR-250. The first at f/ 7.1, ISO 1600, 1/80 second, the last at f/ 6.3, ISO 1250, 1/60 second. Manual focus.
The second and third photos taken with my Lumix DMC-FZ35 fixed lens superzoom camera, aperture priority f/8 ISO 800. For the third photo I attached the Raynox lens to the Lumix.
All taken outside, these poppies are growing in a pot. I don't own a tripod.

You already know these are absolute favourites of mine. I love the name in English 'Anemone Poppies'. It brings together two flowers I both love in one flower I absolutely adore. We call them Anemone De Caen or Anemone Coronaria, I love Anemone Poppies or Poppy Anemones miuch better.
Bye,
Marian

WOW! These are so amazing. I can't believe you don't use a tripod with these fabulous shots. I hardly ever use one either.

Getting this close to flowers is addictive and the colour of your anemone is truly glorious :) No tripod! You have a very steady hand and a keen eye.
