I had asked for a gift of service, and it was gladly given.
However on my birthday morning - which was earlier this week, there were also gifts to open also.
And flowers arrived later from my husband.....
There was even an unexpected little cup holding hand-grown love from a friend.
It was a wonderful birthday week.

A very happy birthday for last week - sounds like there were some well deserved special treats. Love the 'gift of service' idea - shall start writing lists for my kids now and hand it over to then when they're a little older. How lovely that your husband sent you flowers.
