After much deliberation and opinion seeking, I've decided to go with all of these flowers. We were considering pulling out the brighter/deeper ones to give a more serene effect, but after already having removed all those with touches of navy last year, I was beginning to think I may never end up with a finish.
I really do like the brighter pieces as they add more 'bounce' to this Fresh Fields quilt. What do you think? Combining the work of the last few weeks with that of last year, I now have around 60 flowers. I'm aiming for 100+ before working on final placement and stitching together.

Oh my....my heart is going pitty pat at the sight of all your hexie gorgeousness, Karen. The colours, both pale and brighter, are perfect together. This quilt is going to be a vision when finished!
These hexie flowers are so pretty - love the fresh colour palette you are using!
Absolutely beautiful!! I do love the colours. Gorgeous.
I like the way you showed arranged flowers. Greetings.
Hello Karen, your hexi flowers are gorgeous. I love the pretty colors, it will be a lovely quilt. Enjoy your day!
This is Beautiful. The darker ones are just a tad darker and add a lot of interest. This is inspiring me to make a large hexie quilt. I've only done small projects with them. Continue on...we are waiting for your final project!
You Arne really an artist sewing this fantastic hexagons!!
Cheers, Heidrun
This is gorgeous! ;)
I think the deeper hues add depth and pop to the quilt. No need to take 'em out. :)
oh Karen! It's just gorgeous!!
Lovely EPP! A flower garden is certainly on my quilting bucket list!
These are just beautiful...I love the photos almost as much as the quilt. I love the stacks, the fabrics, the color choices. Your photography is as beautiful as your handiwork.
Karen, this is such a beautiful set! The colors together are so soothing and peaceful, without being boring. This will be yet another marvelous finish of yours.
Oh glad, the bright ones are a must! They're not dominating at all, goes so well.
Your hexis are very pretty & gentle! And the occasional bright one is wonderful, it just works!
Lovely as is, very pretty and fresh.
It's super gorgeous! Love everything about it
Gorgeous hexies and fabric choices. Nwhat size hexies? Xx
These are 1” hexies Sue - not too fiddly, not too large. (1” along each side). I have made a tentative start on some 3/4” hexies with organic fabric - rather cute.
I love it with the touches of brightness - so beautiful :-)
Absolutely gorgeous new quilt you are making. Is that darling cupcake a pin cushion? It is so cute. The colors in this fabric are to die for. One of these days you are going to see my name buying a quilt from your ETSY shop.
What a beautiful quilt this will be, Karen!
I just LOVE the colors you chose.
I do like the deeper aquas in the lower right as well as the pops of yellow green Lovely
I like the brighter flowers because they add visual interest to an already beautiful piece!
Very beautiful hexi flowers!!! I think the pops of brighter colors will add some interest and give the eye a place to settle. Not that it wouldn't be gorgeous without them but I'd vote to leave them in. I once made a quilt and left out the really bright greens and after having it quilted and stepping back it sure would have been nicer with them in. Karen
Keep 'em. Colors are beautiful. Will be just lovely when finished.
