The more we looked the more we saw. The Gallery houses many of Australia's well known art pieces as well as indigenous art, visiting exhibitions and European galleries. The Gallery located on the eastern side of Sydney's CBD, next to the Royal Botanic Gardens and the Domain. Spread over five floor levels, it needs more than one visit to enjoy all the Gallery has to offer. There is also a cafe and a shop which I didn't have time to enter. I hope to return next time I'm in Sydney to explore in more detail.

Dear Karen,
now Christmas is over looking for the next: Silvester. Wish you and your lovely family a very good
happy New Year 2017.
Greetings from Augsburg 🤗
That's great that they allow photography. Thank you for sharing your visit. Have a lovely new year! Xxx
It certainly is a great museum and it has great exhibits. One day is not enough to admire all five floors. Regards.
What a wonderful art museum. I love visiting them, and before we came home from Europe (husband was stationed in Spain in the US Navy 70-73) we traveled by Eurail visiting 9 countries and seeing as many art museum as we could fit into a 60 day travel time. It was quite the experience!
Thanks for sharing some of the beautiful paintings you saw, here with us. My favorites were the 'Upper Nepean' and the 'Spring Frost'.
Happy New Year ~ FlowerLady
Dear Karen,
Visiting a museum, one of my favourite things to do. What would the world be without art? Love to see the pictures from The Art Gallery NSW. I especially love 'Jupiter Well to Tjukula by Uta Tjangala'. So beautiful to see the art from a different part of the world.
Wishing you and your family a wonderfull, healthy and creative 2017.
Wishing your daughter all the best with her summer internship.

What a gorgeous museum and what a treat to be able to share. That last painting...sigh.
What an exciting opportunity for Miss E. Thank you for sharing these photos - you could spend hours here and probably not see anything. I do like the Ned Kelly painting - I think the colours captured are perfectly Australian. Happy New Year to you and your family.
