If you must look back, do so forgivingly.
If you must look forward, do so prayerfully.
However, the wisest thing you can do
is be present in the present....Gratefully.

Images captured while being quietly present in the present in the garden. Kookaburra (Kingfisher family), tall-stemmed fungi amongst morning dew, lemons drenched by steamy summer storms, Crocosmia (native to Africa) and a neighbourly hibiscus flower).

Beautiful photos. Such clarity, really capturing the moment.
It is wonderful to now with you, and with me gray and sad. Beautiful pictures you showed of the season with you. Regards.
A wonderful quote to go with beautiful photos. I love the little Kingfisher.
Have a lovely week ~ FlowerLady
These are just beautiful, Karen.
I am glad that you had some time to just "be" in your garden.
great photos !!!
Great pictures to your blog. Greetings.
Your pictures are so beautiful and Maya Angelou's words are so true!
The bird and the rain drops draw my attention.

sigh. so lovely!
I do like that quote to go with these lovely photos...I do miss mushrooms!
Beautiful as always!
A great quote and fabulous shots. Your lemons look more healthy than mine this year. They seem to have caught a bug.
Your shots are, as always just beautiful. No place to be in the present better than out seeing all of God's creations. hope you are having a beautiful summer! Blessings to you from Texas
My husband and I have just had this conversation and the fact that neither of us seem to live in the past, we prefer to live in the present and a little into the future. Our future is getting shorter and shorter I'm 70 this year and hubby will be 71. The here and now is very nice thank you 👍🏻😀
Thanks for stopping by GillyBean. Here and now is very nice - something to treasure each day. :) Those years come and go so quickly.
