Love the colours of this daisy! |
Light summer showers have brought relief to people and garden alike as a look around my garden this morning shows. Thankfully many of the areas in our country recently devastated by bush/wild fires have also received some rain. Very refreshing, even though the days are still very warm and humid.
All photos except the third taken with my Raynox macro attachment.
*** I have just checked the weather forecast for the next few days....we are expecting 40-80mm or above 80mm on each of four of the next five days due to an ex-tropical cyclone heading this way. Our area is now officially on flood watch again for the third January in a row..... :(

Cudowne letnie zdjęcia roślin w kroplach wody. Pierwszy kwiatek uwielbia moja córka. U nas się nazywa "lwia paszcza". Pozdrawiam serdecznie.
Wonderful summer photos of plants in water drops. First Flower loves my daughter. Here's called "Snapdragon". Yours sincerely.
Exquisite, colorful flowers and superb captures as always!! How lovely to be surrounded by so much beauty!! Hope you and your family have a wonderful weekend! Enjoy!
So sorry about your weather dilemmas but your shots are amazing, as always.

Karen, I love your flower photos, especially the daisy. It's so good to be finally getting some rain. We are getting the same forecast as you. Stay safe. Nikki.

Beautiful macro pictures of the summer flowers in your garden. Those tiny raindrops give the flowers that something more. I hope and pray it will all stay within limits and no floods will occur. Thinking of you all.
Bye,
Marian
WOW!! Those pictures are simply gorgeous. That last daisy took my breath away!
Hang tight in all the rain.
Prayers going up for our northern neighbours.

Love seeing these awesome nature that God has created captured by your God given eyes and camera. Pleasing to the eyes:)
Each shot is an explosion of colour. I especially love the snapdragon :)
Much prayer for your area that no floods will occure. Just a gentle rain so you can keep on captureing GOD's beauty. LOVE the angelonia, and hope to have in this year. Its the plant that actracted the cute Katydid that I had fun one morning taking pics of.
GOD bless and keep you safe.
Such beautiful and alming pictures.
Your colorful flowers really perked things up around here where we have snow in the forecast today--something we don't usually see much of. I'm glad to hear that areas in need of rain were on the receiving end of some precipitation.
I think a little bit of rain will be a pleasant supprise for you but that much is not what you want. I hope there will be no floodings in your part of the country.
Have a wonderful weekend Karen.
so beautiful flowers!
lovely collection!
Have a great weekend!

I always like the combination of water in macros.

What exquisite flowers! You captured everything so amazingly well!
I love seeing these blooms while my own little world here is covered in snow and ice! Reminds me that spring will come again, yet I love the beauty of winter as well.
Thanks for sharing these beauties!
Even though I'm keen to tell you my favourite photos are you 2nd, 5th, last one, I'm a little more concerned about the weather up there. How are things?
So far so good. The heavy rain hasn't reached us yet - due in a few hours. As the ground is not already waterlogged and the rivers are lowish, I think we should be fine. It's always an unknown. Also there is no king tide due which holds the water from getting out of the river downstream.
so beautiful and touching pictures! pure poetry!!
best regards
isabella

How lovely to see these vibrant images while I look upon a frigid moon lit landscape of white. I do hope you will be spared the worst of the cyclone. Take care. Thanks so for your kind words over at my photography blog.
