Finishing February

The kangaroo 'caretakers' of our church grounds watch over our comings and goings.
A thoughtful friend delivered these gorgeous roses on Valentine's Day - she had read between the lines.
The friendly King Parrot revisited our backyard at least twice more.

Miss E celebrated her 7th birthday in a flurry of Lego and siblings, declaring she had the 'Funnest, craziest, biggest, cutest family in her whole life'. Master J came home from uni in time for birthday cake, while Miss E senior departed for her Sydney college very early the following morning.

And so ends February. A brand new month and season await, brimming with fresh hope and opportunities.

I really like kangaroos and nice to look at them in the wild, not as I do at the zoo. Beautiful roses, and of colorful bird. Happy Birthday to Miss E's birthday. Regards.

It's as though you get animals and birds to pose for you, and you've captured the rose scent in your photos. Happy Birthday to Miss E, I love how she described your family,

I loved looking into that kangaroos eyes. Wow! Just think, the lion and the lamb will lay down together. No creatures great or small will have fears anymore, all will be peaceful and loving in eternity. Fantastic!

Thanks for sharing the beauty and the family love that surround you there.

Belated Happy Birthday to Miss E.

Great shots of your typical wildlife and congrats for your family. Funny that we are able to be update at the other side of the world within seconds. If I read about the discovery of v. Diemens land and the years it took before that message reached civilization then we made great steps in progress.

So funny! I was just thinking of you when I opened my computer, and up popped those kangaroos. Those are just so amazing to see! I always love your shots of these by your church. I have seen a kangaroo, but only at the zoo, and not ones nearly as peppy looking as yours always are. I would really love to see one of these out in the wild. So happy birthday to Miss E, and I am hoping for you that you and your family will have a newness in the spring months... well for you I guess fall is coming. Hope the new season will be a beautiful one, and that many new and good things will happen for you! Continue to think of you often and remember you in my prayers. I have been considering thinking of home schooling my new little grandaughter... well a ways off, and wonder how you got started with this. I would have plenty of time to plan it as she is now only 4 months old. LOL

The Lego scene looks so very familiar to what I am used to! (Beau's favorite gift was also Legos)
The kangaroos, not so much!
That would be something to see. :)

Have a nice Sunday.

I’m not minding the lego chaos so much these days as I know it’s not going to last for many more years. It’s really nice to be able to still gift physical toys.
